I like the feeling after just devouring a hearty meal from any Japanese restaurant because I don’t feel bloated [and disgusted] even after eating too much (maybe because of the chopsticks! haha!). We frequent Teriyaki Boy because it’s more accessible and cheaper. My new favorite salad is their Crunchy Salmon Salad (my first one btw was Bigby’s Tiki Wacky Salad). Jerick’s dish is Katsudon which is my usual order before but since I’ve been living healthy (haha!), recessed from eating meat. Our usual side dish/appetizer is Californian Maki, and occasional sashimi. And for dessert, my most favorite frozen yogurt is their Yogato! Even if we dine in other restaurants/fast food, I don’t forget to miss this heaven in a cup, unless of course we’re not in Ayala… hahaha! I find their froyo exceptional since it doesn’t melt that fast and the tangy-ness is just right. My usual topping for my yogato is two serves of dried mangoes, but as pictured, I just had it plain because they ran out at that time.
For the price, a meal like this which is good for two people (we had bottomless iced tea) would range between Php 700-850. The ambiance of the place is commendable; warm light, clean, cozy…. ahhaha!. The service is also good (if the place is not full… hahaha!) but there are times that they attend to customers a bit slow even if there are not that much customers inside…hmmmm ?_?. . And for my rating since I’m a food-critique-wannabe and a bias when it comes to my favorites, I would rate Teriyaki Boy an A++… hahaha!
P.S: One of my New Year’s Resolution for 2012 is to post more food blogs/critiques here on Tumblr… if laziness and forgetfulness will not get on my way. My blabbers on food, by the way, as you may have read, may not be that profound or detailed because I already ate it all up while eating too! Pardon moi! hahaha!… XD
